Here is an easier solution to the usual green garden. Artificial grass is a great alternative from its competitor the seed-grown challenger. Keep your lawn looking like perfection all year round, whether it’s dry, wet, or you have pets.
A wooden border gets put around the area and filled up with stone.
The stone acts as a base once it’s compacted down. It ensures a that any water that comes through gets soaked up and doesn’t affect the level of the ground.
Sand is spread across this top layer before a weed proof membrane is put down.
You can see underneath that artificial grass here, the perfectly aligned stitched blends in with the black sheet, which provides a block to the sunlight.
Finally, when it’s down we user a power-brush to make all the strands stick up. We work a light layer of sand into this.
This is the finished garden with all the play equipment back on to give it that finished, homely feel.
