When we arrived on site this is what the garden looked like. We knew it was going to take a lot of removal work before hand with the amount of stone and features already there, but that wasn’t a problem.
Firstly we removed the obstructions and cleared the area for preparation. This meant setting up our chop saw to cut all lengths of decking to the correct size.
Weather is a factor we can easily soldier through – we put up tents and have waterproofs ready to continue working as efficiently as possible. The decking frames start going down.
More beams get added to the frame to create a more reinforced structure. This provides a completely level surface. Now, the lengths of decking are starting to get laid down.
During this time, the artificial grass was getting prepared, which we unfortunately don’t have pictures of.
The final pieces of decking are being installed to the top end of the garden. We moved the chop saw to make sure the individual lengths fitted neatly in.
And here’s the finished picture. All of the fence panels are now put on and the area looks complete.
To top it off, we put some built-in lights in to the decking to give it more ambience and atomosphere.
It looks just as good during the night as it does during the day now and is perfect for those late summer nights.
