This household at Greasbrough, in Rotherham, was getting ready to update their garden with some new artificial grass.
First of all, we used our brand new turf cutter to take the top layer of grass off. It gives us just the right amount of depth to work to as we can check the levels and dig further down if we need to.
The wooden borders get put into place and secured down with stakes. Our draining method is very traditional and is recommended under the manufacturers instructions, to stone it up with the larger stones at the bottom and gradually getting smaller. Then, it is topped off with sand and wackered down to a level surface.
To further protect it from any future wear, we put down a weed-proof membrane to make sure there’s no lumps or bumps under the grass in time to come.
Finally, the finished piece! The garden can maintain that pure green look all year round with minimal effort to maintain it.
