This was what the front garden looked like before we revamped it with a new artificial grass make over. After having the back done, which can be seen in the previous post, it was only right to do the front too.
With it being on the front we had chance to get the digger on it to speed up the completion time of the job. If we have good access then this can speed up the process significantly and reducing the cost for you.
A level is dug out from the edges to provide our starting base.
On this particular house we had a special request to remove, rearrange, and add some new patio slabs. This required us to take them all up to ensure this was level, too.
These pieces of wood are used to screed the surface to an even point and are a very simple, yet effective, way of measuring it.
Once that was completed, we made sure to wash it all down to give it the finished and clean look. As standard, we always ensure we leave no mess behind and take everything with us – so you’re just left with a beautiful garden.
This is the final procedure before the artificial grass is fitted. A weedproof membrane is held in place temporarily with bags of sand before it gets tacked into the ground.
Voila! The finished garden is brushed and ready to stand up on a sunny day.
